Hi, I'm Alexis Hightower

I was born and raised in Malibu, California and I'm now currently living in Raeford (aka Fort Bragg/Liberty), North Carolina with my husband and our pups. I found my love of photography when my dad gave me his Minolta X700 35mm film camera, which I quickly began shooting anything I found fascinating or that caught my eye. My eye always went for beautiful scenery, animals, architecture or candid photos of individuals. Before digital really came to light I was able to learn how to develop and print my own photos in high school and college.

I've been fortunate to work along side some amazing photographers who encouraged me to pursue my love of photography and find my own style. I spent three years living in Cabo San Lucas where I photographed weddings, events and mainly high end vacation rentals for Cabo Luxury. When I moved back to California in 2016 I focused on photographing high end homes in the Los Angeles and Ventura County. I also worked as a wedding planner and got to see the "behind the scenes" of how everything flows which made me have a new perspective on photographing weddings.
